Discipline & Conduct Policy
Silverlines Matriculation School maintains a disciplined environment that promotes respect, responsibility, and positive behaviour. Students are expected to maintain good conduct within the campus and outside while representing the school. Respect towards teachers, fellow students, and school property is mandatory. Any form of misconduct, indiscipline, or behaviour affecting the school’s reputation will be addressed with appropriate corrective measures.
Attendance Rules
Regular attendance is essential for academic success. Students are expected to attend school punctually and maintain satisfactory attendance throughout the academic year. Leave of absence must be informed in advance through a written request by parents. Students with insufficient attendance may not be permitted to appear for examinations as per school regulations.
Uniform Policy
Students must wear the prescribed school uniform neatly and regularly. The uniform represents discipline and equality among students. Any deviation from the uniform code without valid reason is not permitted. Students are expected to maintain personal cleanliness and proper grooming while attending school.
Examination Rules
Students must adhere strictly to examination guidelines. Malpractice of any form during examinations is strictly prohibited. Absence during examinations without valid reason may result in loss of marks or re-examination only at the discretion of the school authorities. Students are expected to prepare sincerely and maintain examination discipline.
Leave Policy
Leave should be applied in advance through a leave letter signed by parents or guardians. In case of medical leave, supporting medical certificates must be submitted. Continuous absence without prior intimation may lead to removal of the student’s name from the attendance register.
Parent Cooperation Guidelines
The school believes that education is a joint responsibility of parents and teachers. Parents are requested to cooperate with the school in maintaining discipline, monitoring academic progress, and ensuring regular attendance. Parents should attend meetings and respond promptly to school communications for the overall development of the child.
